Here’s our immediate reaction:
The strength of these Will Ferrell flicks is their ability to be hilarious without any need to take the comedy seriously…. if you see what I mean. It’s the craft of making people laugh, no matter what. One-liners and slapstick abound, and a loose but very endearing plotline tie it all together. ‘Serious’ or ‘smart’ comedy it ain’t, but Ferrell and Reilly are a crack team and they are veterans at the task of making you laugh. As we said…. two thumbs up!
