Check out Politifact’s Obameter, a reference tool which tracks about 500 of President Obama’s campaign promises and marks them as:

  • Promise kept
  • Compromise
  • Promise broken

  • In the works
  • No action

This should be interesting!  There are some promises I wish he would break, like the tax hikes he talked about during the campaign.  There are others I’d be very happy to see him implement, like eliminating capital gains for small businesses and startups.  Maybe I should keep my own score, where he may actually gain points for abandoning some of his campaign pledges!
