The Supreme Court has ruled 5-4 that public prayer at the beginning of town board meetings – even almost exclusively Christian public prayer – is constitutional. In this clip I respond to the ruling on the case from Greece, NY, pointing out inconsistencies in the ruling, defending the separation of church and state, and asking why a moment of silence wouldn’t do the job just fine without being divisive or exclusive.
