I’m no admirer of Paris Hilton (although her sex tape was freakishly riveting). But this response to John McCain’s campaign ad saying that Obama is ‘just’ a celebrity like Paris is smart and witty and very cool. Not only that: her energy policy rocks!
Paris says that one candidate wants to drill for more oil (McCain) while the other wants alternative fuels (Obama): in actual fact both candidates now believe the same things about offshore drilling and alternative fuels and there appears now to be a broad consensus that drilling is necessary before alternative fuels can take over. Thus, the Paris Hilton Energy Plan is the voice of the people.
Now, if a useless socialite in a bikini knows what we need to do, what the hell is wrong with Congress?
